Garbage Disposal Installation and Repair in Northwest Hills (78731)

Why Northwest Hills Homeowners Call Us First

Along the Far West corridor, 78731 blends established Northwest Hills streets like Greystone with some of Austin's most consistently maintained homes.

These kitchens are well cared for, which means we see disposals that were installed correctly and simply wore out after a long, honest life.

The typical call is a 12 to 18-year-old unit leaking at the motor housing or the sink flange, and the homeowner wants a premium replacement that will do another fifteen.

We install a lot of top-tier 3/4 and 1 HP models here, often reusing the existing air switch in the granite.

Highland Park Elementary zone families appreciate that we work clean and quiet: drop cloths down, shoe covers on, and the old disposal gone before dinner.

Deep single-basin sinks are standard in 78731 remodels, and they demand attention to drain geometry: the disposal discharge must sit above the trap weir or the unit holds dirty water and breeds odor.

We measure and, when needed, re-pipe the trap arm on every install. It is a small detail that separates a disposal that smells in six months from one that never does.

Northwest Hills Homes and Their Disposals

Well-kept 1960s through 1980s homes, many with high-end remodels featuring stone counters, deep single-basin sinks, and professional-style faucets. Under-sink space is generous and plumbing is modern.

The disposals we replace are usually mid-range or better units that simply reached end of life. Because the kitchens are high-end, flange finish matters: we stock polished stainless and matte options to match the faucet.
